Community Development Block Grant Program(CDBG)

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is administered by DBAS through funding appropriation from the Department of Commerce of the American Samoa Government.  The CDBG Program serves to facilitate the flow of loan funds to qualified commercial enterprises and potential borrowers to stimulate economic activity and employment opportunities.

Maximum Loan Amount:  $40,000.00

Interest Rate: 9.00% to 11.00% per annum

Term: Up to 15 years

Eligibility:  Open to all local private businesses
