Community Service Block Grant Program (CSBG)

The Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Program is administered by DBAS through funding appropriation from the Department of Commerce of the American Samoa Government.  The CSBG Program aims to reduce poverty in American Samoa by lending funds to businesses in an attempt to encourage investment in the private sector of the community.

Maximum Loan Amount:  $40,000.00

Interest Rate: 9.00% to 11.00% per annum

Term: Up to 15 years

Eligibility:  Open to all local private businesses
